Services

Fixed-scope assessments or ongoing hands-on work. Every engagement is remote, priced in USD, and starts with a short call to confirm scope. Fixed-scope prices are one-off fees for work I do with you; the ongoing contract is billed weekly. The $1 templates are self-serve downloads and include no consulting time.

Terms for fixed-scope work: one revision and one 60-minute walkthrough are included. 50% at kickoff, 50% on delivery. Quotes are valid for 30 days. A mutual NDA is available on request. What you provide: read-only repository access or a buildable archive, plus the flow and device class where the problem appears.

How it works

Four steps, each with a written output. Fixed-scope engagements do not run on an open-ended hourly meter.

  1. Send the app and the symptom

Email the app, the flow that feels slow or unstable, the device class, and your timeline. A screen recording or a trace is enough to start.

  2. Scoping call and fixed quote

Within one business day you get a 30-minute call slot and a fixed quote. If the problem is outside what I can measure or fix, I say so and charge nothing.

  3. Access, NDA, and measurement

Read-only repository access or a buildable archive, a mutual NDA if you need one, and the agreed baseline. I measure before I change anything.

  4. Report and walkthrough

You get the written report, the prioritized backlog, and the traces, then a 60-minute walkthrough. One revision is included.

FAQ

The questions that come up before a first email.

What access do you need?

Read-only repository access or a buildable archive, plus a build or TestFlight link that reproduces the problem. For a performance audit I also need the flow, the device class, and the approximate time when the symptom appears.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes. A mutual NDA is available on request and is signed before repository access is granted.

What is in the report?

A written report in PDF and Markdown, the prioritized backlog, the traces and measurements behind each finding, and a 60-minute walkthrough. The report states the baseline and the measurement definition so another engineer can reproduce the numbers.

How many revisions are included?

One revision per fixed-scope engagement. A revision covers corrections to the report and a re-check of the same scope, not a new app or a new flow.

How does payment work?

50% at kickoff and 50% on delivery for fixed-scope work. The ongoing contract is billed weekly at $50 per hour with a 15-hour weekly minimum.

How long is a quote valid?

30 days from the date of the quote. If the scope changes, the quote is reissued before work continues.

Do you guarantee a performance outcome?

No. I guarantee the measurement method, the written deliverables, and the revision. The report separates what changed, what did not change, and what remains uncertain.

How is the ongoing contract different from an audit?

An audit is a fixed-scope, fixed-price deliverable that ends with a report. The ongoing contract is embedded work at $50 per hour, minimum 15 hours per week, for teams that need hands-on delivery after the audit.
